Questions

Before you reach out

Ask Aaron: 520-222-7993
What areas do you serve?

We’re based in Tucson and serve homes and businesses across the metro (Tucson, South Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Casas Adobes, the Catalina Foothills and Tanque Verde), plus Vail, Corona de Tucson, Sahuarita and Green Valley to the south and southeast, and Tucson Estates, Picture Rocks, Avra Valley, Catalina and SaddleBrooke to the west and northwest. See Areas We Serve, or call or text 520-222-7993 with your address.

How much will this cost, and do you charge hourly or flat rate?

It depends on the job. Troubleshooting and small repairs are often billed hourly, sometimes with a service-call fee. Defined projects like installing a circuit, fixture, or charger are commonly quoted at a flat rate. Rates vary widely by region and complexity, so ask for a written estimate that lists labor, materials, and permit fees.

How long will the job take, and will the power be off?

Simple jobs like a fixture, outlet, or dimmer can take an hour or two. A new circuit or charger may take a few hours to half a day. A panel upgrade often takes most of a day and needs power off for several hours, sometimes with utility coordination. A good electrician will tell you the expected outage in advance so you can plan around refrigerators, medical equipment, and work-from-home needs.

Do you offer emergency service, and do you give free estimates?

Many electricians offer 24/7 emergency service at a higher rate. Free estimates are common for larger projects, while troubleshooting or diagnostic visits are often charged. If you see sparks, smell burning, or suspect a fire, turn off the main breaker if it is safe to do so and call 911 before calling an electrician.
